Wednesday 7/9Honeybee Featuring: Candle Show at 9pm-$3 Door -A legacy always has a beginning. A traditional song might have once been its modern day's popular song. Today's strikingly sincere, fun and engaging songs may one day be an "Auld Lang Syne" or "Edelweiss" centuries from now. Of the same ilk as these are the melodies of Melissa Geary played out in her Honeybee musical journey. Prolific writing, extreme life alterations and severe talent have allowed her to find the pleasant impression any situation can make on a melody. Initially playing out in her hometown, Omaha, NE, with only her gently vigorous voice and miniature organ she attracted fans of honesty and lovely music. Gathering some friends to fill out her sound and bring her vision, which was always too large for just one musician, into full view Honeybee is reaching and growing past a mere singer-songwriter niche. With touring and recording plans on the horizon Honeybee is preparing for whatever may befall her.

Thursday 7/10Jessica LindseyFeaturing: Stephanie Pilypaitis Show at 9pm-$2 Door - Jessica’s lyrics are filled with an engaging blend of emotions that take her audience on a wonderful journey through the human condition. These are combined with a rich mixture of melodies sure to hold your heart while you listen. “Jessica has a hauntingly soulful, yet honest and positively-charged unique sound” -W. Foss, Chicago, IL “Love this sound . . . these songs are ‘soundtrack material’ . . . If George Winston’s songs had lyrics, they might sound like this . . . ” -D. Godsey, Omaha, NE "Lindsey is a singer-songwriter whose soaring piano-based ballads and pop songs are backed by an all-star local band on the disc. Her sound straddles the fence of mainstream and indie, and comparisons to early Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos and Imogen Heap are inevitable." -Marq Manner - City Weekly
